Class Size and Scheduling

We teach classes to individuals and small groups of up to 4 on weekday evenings, and weekend mornings. To sign up or check availability call or text (602)920-6542, or email artbytlee@outlook.com. Please allow 24 hours for a return communication.

Introduction to Mosaics

Create a one-of-a-kind picture frame or wooden cutout (heart, rectangle, seasonal) while learning the basics of adhesion, composition, and cutting. Instruction, project and supplies are included.

3 hours of instruction on your first visit, 1 hour of grouting on your second visit: $60*

Intermediate Mosaics

Create a one-of-a-kind wine bottle, bird house, planter, or large picture frame while learning intermediate mosaic skills including working with stained glass, cutting glass, and creating intricate designs. Instruction, project and supplies are included.

4 hours of instruction on your first visit, 1 hour of grouting on your second visit: $75*

Advanced Mosaics

Create a one-of-a-kind mosaic project of your choosing, such as an instrument, a cow skull, a mirror, or a vase. You will select and provide your own project but should discuss your piece in advance with the instructor to ensure we have the supplies you will need. The time required for an advanced project depends on the size of the piece and the complexity of the design selected by the student.

The class fee is $15 per hour per person.*

Need Additional Time to Finish Your Project?

The time designated for each class is based on how long it takes an average student to finish a project. You may need more time. We will not provide you with supplies to “finish up at home,” but you are welcome to schedule additional time in the studio at the rate of $15 per hour per person.

Transporting Your Piece

TLEE Gallery doesn’t have room to store your piece so you’ll need to bring it home after every class. We suggest you bring a box to transport your mosaic safely.

Please call Tina at 602-920-6542 or email Artbytlee@outlook.com to schedule your class.

*Policy on Reservations, Refunds, Cancellations, and Late Arrivals:  To reserve a class, the class fee must be paid in full. There are no refunds. A student may reschedule a class (depending on the availability of the gallery) if the student provides at least 48 hours’ notice to the gallery. The gallery reserves the right to retain the class fee and not to reschedule with a student that “no-shows” or provides less than 48 hours’ notice of cancellation.Classes begin and end promptly at the designated times. The end-time of a class will not be extended to accommodate a student’s late arrival.  Students arriving more than 30 minutes late will forfeit their class fee and will not be permitted to join the class or reschedule to a different time.
